# I have had this peace lily for over a year now and it used to have…

I have had this peace lily for over a year now and it used to have beautiful flowers. Recently it has started to get yellow leaves and dry patches on the ends of its leaves and I’m not sure why. Also it’s always been in the same spot.

Have you checked the roots? If it’s been growing and happy for a year, it might be time to repot.

Mine stopped flowering but I heard that can happen based on how they grow it before it gets to you. I would give it more humidity. When it rains let it sit outside and get the rain water and summer heat. In the meantime you can put it the shower with warm water. Lastly I sit mine in a bucket of warm water every now and then if it slumps. Let it sit and then drain. It perks back up the next day.
