My rose bush’s leaves are turning yellow and brown. Within a day of a flower blooming, it turns brown and the petals fall off. I want to keep the rose bush alive.

So mine are doing so much better. What helped is I leave it out in the full sun. I cut off all the leaves, I used neem oil and I also have been only watering around the base of the plant.

Mine too. I just bought some Bonide Rose RX Systemic that a Rose aficionado co worker suggested. I just applied 2 weeks ago and it’s an every 6 week application. So far still yellow leaves with spots. It major blooming happening 😕 I also want the foliage to be green and healthy though.

Also, this is my first attempt at roses because I’ve always been intimidated by them. I’m in Texas zone 9B and our climate can be brutal! My rose bush gives teeny tiny little cute yellow roses. But I am hoping to get good at this one and then try climbers with big lush florals!

So mine has gotten better. I used neem oil, cut off all the leaves that were yellow, or had black spots on them, and watered the base of the plant
