I put some of this 4 week feeder in some of my house plants and now the leaves are turning yellow, any ideas? I thought the feed would be good for them? The plants are monstera \& kentia palms

I’m wondering if the food is too concentrated or maybe they’re getting too much?

It could be fertilizer burn or overwatering. I don’t know how 4 week fertilizer feeders work. Are there little holes that slow drain liquid fertilizer into the soil?

I would question whether the plants need that much fertilizer in such a short period of time. Most plants are good with one full dose of fertilizer per month in the growing season. I dilute mine to give my plants 50% diluted fertilizer every two weeks and most of my plants are thriving.

yeah this looks like fertilizer burn to me 😕

As stated by others fertilizer burn. Lay back on the fertilizer and cut out the brown. Could repot in new soil if needed but also putting that liquid fertilizer too close to the base plant can be an issue itself. Thankfully catching it sooner than later.

Thanks everyone! Will remove the fertiliser and keep to dilute over time
