earwig 🥴 they eat dead plant matter and small insects and they’re kind of horrible to look at lol

Is it bad for the plant? Should I be worried?

I had several of them in my Curly Bonnie spider plant! It was creepy to watch the clan climb out when I watered. I flushed them out to bring the plant inside for winter.

They’re bad here this year. They do eat plants so I would not call them innocuous. They eat everything right down to the ground.

I’ve been finding these in my house occasionally lately 😫
