I think I was wrong about my plant being fine, I just watered him and I came back to dump out the excess water that came out drainage holes then I see this! (Forgot what it’s called) fell off! It’s completely new, starting sprouting 1-2 months ago and I come back after a few minutes and it’s just off the plant! Is this normal? While watering I did notice the tip of it becoming black but I didn’t think anything of it, slightly reconsidering getting another plant!!

I have this exact plant. It’s normal! Those are its “flowers” they cycle through. Some last a long time some don’t and they usually turn black before they decide to fall off. They do easily snap off if bumped just right though but it won’t harm your plant. A lot of people cut them off because they dislike how they look and want mor energy into the plant.

Completely agree with Josie here. I have 4 different peperomia and as long as you don’t see any root, pest, or soil issues, I wouldn’t stress about it. I even see some new leaves forming on yours. Mine all enjoy a good north windowsill if you wanna change anything. If you start to see another one go, or within a week or so, lose quite a few of the flowers without any real reason as to why, then you can be concerned, but I’ve found that even the leaves can cut themselves off if they go bad. One arrived with a bad leaf and I literally just plucked it out without any effort. No root rot or anything. Plant’s been just fine since, and likely got a leaf’s stem bend and started naturally dying off, but honestly, from the photo alone at least, I don’t see anything to cause any alarm. Hope this helps!

Thank you! I didn’t know this yet

Yes, I was a bit confused as I saw some new sprouts coming in, I think it was just pushed away because I checked and there was a leaf growing in its place
