Are you referring to the mineral build up?

Yes. I thought it was mold 😭

Haha I assumed the same when I first saw it on my plants😆 not harmful to the plants, but if it bothers you aesthetically you can soak the pot (take the plant out) in 50/50 white vinegar and water for a few days then scrub. Worked for me!

I assumed the same too 😂

I just wipe it off with a microfiber cloth when it gets too annoying. One of the only downsides of having terracotta pots.
