# I need help with my maidenhair fern 🙃 I cannot sustain her happiness…

_Publicado por Erin el 2024-03-01_

I need help with my maidenhair fern 🙃 I cannot sustain her happiness and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I know I skipped a watering day months ago but she’s still not coming back like I’d hope 😅 She gets watered every other day and sits next to a humidifier in the bathroom my husband uses for baths multiple times a day so it’s the most humid room. I’m in Colorado which is soooo dry but I’m doing the most for her! If anyone has suggestions I’d really appreciate it 🫠

The second picture is when she was much happier (husband is also pictured 😂)

I live in CO too, but that rootball looks really wet and every other day seems too much for even a fern. Cut back on watering, try watering when 50% of the soil is dry.

Maybe try a self-watering pot. I've got my outdoor maidenhair in one and it does very well
