# Why are her leaves curling?? She is root bound but I just got her so…

Why are her leaves curling?? She is root bound but I just got her so I didn’t want to traumatize her with an immediate repot. I’m watering her frequently as Planta says to keep her soil moist.

Is it indoors?

It is with a couple grow lights. One above and one on the side. Even tho I have been wondering lately how good these are. Sometimes Planta light meter says they are only partial sun even tho I have them on the highest setting.

grow lights, even the best of them, won’t ever compare to true sun. i think that’s probably the issue — it wants to be outside. but im impressed you grew this to flower indoors! pretty cool 😎

Sunflowers have massive roots and I haven’t really heard of them being grown in a pot let alone indoors. Not to say it can’t be done but I don’t think you’ll get much more out of this one unless it goes in the ground outside. It won’t keep as a houseplant if that’s your intention.

I actually didn’t I bought it from the store like this 😅 but she looked perfect when I did so not sure how they kept her so beautiful for so long.
