Since the roots of your money tree may not be fully developed yet, it's important to water it carefully. Water the plant thoroughly when the top inch or so of the soil feels dry to the touch, but be sure not to saturate the entire soil mass. Instead, focus the watering around the base of the plant to encourage root growth in that area. Allow excess water to drain away to prevent waterlogged soil, which can lead to root rot. Adjust your watering frequency based on the specific conditions of your environment and the plant's needs.

You might want to bottom water this plant. There are tutorials on how to do this in this site or You tube. It’s quite simple to do actually.
