# Help with my monstera and micans 🥺 I got them about a month ago and…

Help with my monstera and micans 🥺

I got them about a month ago and I’m not sure if they had these spots then.

There are about 1 feet away from a south facing window and they get very minimal direct sunlight but are in a very bright place. I water them when my moisture meter says so and only do bottom water with tap water.

Any tips?

a foot away from a south facing window is a lot of direct light!

They really don’t get that much direct light :( let me show you! This is as much light as they get at 3pm!

However, my AC vent maybe hitting them directly?

ah! they’re not getting ENOUGH light — east or west would be best if you’ve got it. A splash of sun in the morning or evening and then bright indirect throughout the day 👍
