# My zucchini are not maturing on the vine. I just pull a rotten one…

My zucchini are not maturing on the vine. I just pull a rotten one off today that didn’t get bigger than a pencil. Any ideas?

In my limited experience -one of the reasons can be that they probably were incompletely pollinated. Sometimes the female flowers don’t get enough pollen and you get wimpy, misshapen fruit. You can hand pollinate if that is the case. (I know!) I’m still trying with mine.🤷‍♀️
