# This is my Thai Constellation Monstera- I had a monstera before this…

This is my Thai Constellation Monstera- I had a monstera before this and had a similar issue. It looks like a root rot issue because that was what happened last time. Along with the brown spots coming on the plant. Please if anyone has any tips for me it would be greatly appreciated. To also add- I live in a dorm and this seems like a common occurrence so I’m not sure what I need to do!

You could try to cut back on how often you water and maybe add a plant light. Rot stems from a watering issue. The plant needs to dry completely between waterings. The soil could also need more aeration to help it dry out. Adding perlite may help.
