Does anyone have advice on helping my Snake plant? I’m trying to revive him but he’s pretty shrivelled and hasn’t grown hardly at all in the last two years.

If your snake plant leaves get really soggy then wither. You may have a fungi problem because those plants are pretty hearty and resilient. My suggestions is to remove all damaged parts and do a 14 day treatment with neem oil or other fungicide and then every two weeks for 60 days to ensure fungi don’t return.

What kind of soil is it in? It looks pretty compacted - they need a fast draining cactus/ succulent soil mix. I recommend you remove the plant from the pot and check for root rot. I bet once the roots are cleaned up (if needed) and it’s repotted in fresh well draining soil you’ll see it bounce back

Start with the easiest first. Repot into appropriate high grit, fast draining soil. And check for root problems while doing so. And then drench water when entire pot of soil is dry. It’s a succulent and requires similar care. Also check the amount of light it’s getting. They should be getting very bright light in order to thrive. Morning sun is usually fine. My best guess is the soil is totally wrong and the roots are staying wet. If you are not use to succulent care, repotting into terracotta helps keep the soil dry. And yes, people say they don’t need light. Well they do if you want growth and to see them thrive. Pic is only a few of my sansevieria.

Here is an easy fix that has worked for me. Get pot with good drainage, place saucer with pebbles, and keep water in the saucer. Put it in the bathroom with a grow light. Water as the plants needs it

Repotted two of my snake plants together in cactus/succulent soil! Hoping they bounce back in the next couple of weeks!
