# Hello plant peeps! I was gifted this tiny 2” African Violet…

Hello plant peeps! I was gifted this tiny 2” African Violet yesterday. She’s in rough shape. Her soil was severely hydrophobic. I gave her a good soak in room temperature water and trimmed off her dead leaves and flowers. Is there anything else I should do to help her grow?

👋 Hello! My African violets love plant food and bloom juice from Elm Dirt! Also I find mine like to be in pots with the self watering with the string method or a little bit of left over water in catch pot.

\& lots of nice light or grow lights!

Try not to get the leaves wet when watering. Otherwise these are some of the easiest plants I've ever had. If you make any mistakes, you can propagate from a healthy leaf or top cutting and it should bounce back just fine
