I’ve had this dracaena for about two weeks. It has three planted together. The smallest one is dropping all of its leaves. The other two seem fine and have not dropped any leaves. I am being mindful to not over or under water. Right now the top inch is dry and I feel damp soil below that. Plenty of drainage. I know sometimes these things just happen but any thoughts?

I’ve had similar issues with dracaena in the past. Tbh, I do not currently own one but have learned that these can be sensitive to tap water. The best recommendation I received was to use filtered or distilled water for these types of plants.

Check the roots, I know it’s a lot of work, but it’s usually the culprit. If it’s not the roots (rot/overwatering), dry rot (under watering), or drafts/heat waves, or pests.

Could also be a new environment and it’ll bounce back after a month or so.

I need advice on the best way to re-pot a very large plant. I don’t know where to start when it comes down to actually removing the plant from the container it is in. I’m afraid that I will end up breaking the planet by getting it out of the basket . I just don’t know where to start. Any suggestions? Thank you.
