# Hello! I planted this lime tree in my back yard about 3 months ago.…

Hello!

I planted this lime tree in my back yard about 3 months ago. We noticed some blemishes on a few leaves and much of the fruit is scarred as seen in the photos.

I suspect citrus canker which is incurable.

Do I need to remove the tree completely? Any advice is appreciated.

It looks like citrus canker to me. You’ll be able eat what’s there and the tree may live for a while but eventually it will stop bearing fruit. Sorry, friend.. :(
