Hello all! New to plant care and this app and I need help. I don’t know what is wrong with my hydrangea. Just planted it in the last two weeks. Help!

It looks to me like it needs water it looks very dehydrated 😅

I will definitely water and see if that helps! My confusion I guess stems from the facts that only a portion of the flower balls are looking that way! The rest of the look perfect

Yeah that’s why I’m not too sure it could also be still stress from when you planted it maybe that or heat stress if it’s hot?

It’s not very hot here right now. 70-85 degrees but maybe you are right about stress since I just planted it! I love hydrangeas and I’ll be so sad if I kill it lol

Yeah could be just stress then I’d just do the usual recommended watering and fertilizer if it needs any and just wait and see if it gets better or not since it’s not too bad and the rest of the plants look fine

All my hydrangeas have taken water every day every other day. They all have been very thirsty. Also fertilizer will help keep her healthy.

Thanks yall! I ended up moving her to the side flower bed because I believe she was getting too much sun maybe so we will see if she is better today by the end of the day.

Hey yall!! Just wanted to tell you since moving my hydrangeas they have improved immensely!! I also pruned all the dead or damaged flowers/leaves and I am getting a bunch of new leaves and bloom starts now. Thanks again!!
