# Found this lil critter on my monstera… (top right of leaf) there’s a…

Found this lil critter on my monstera… (top right of leaf) there’s a couple more on different leaves. I also have some very small black bugs in my soil. I think it might be thrips 😭 Any tips on getting rid of these things is appreciated~  
I just ordered neem oil online so I can try to treat it. Any other info is much needed and appreciated!

Personally, I tried neem oil and it never worked 100%. They’d always come back. So I sprayed them with an insecticide whenever a new batch of eggs hatched and kept it isolated. It took like 2-3 weeks but no more thrips. Now I just go straight for the big guns when it comes to pests. I also inspected the leaves every couple days to wipe up any grown thrips.
