It looks like it may be in too big a pot. Ideally for that sized plant and roots it probably needs like a 2-4 inch pot. When the pot is too big for the root system, they get more waterlogged which then leads to root rot, which may explain the yellowing leaves.

If it started in just water, transferring it to soil can shock the plant. Also, before transferring it needs lots of roots, since it needs to grow new ones in the soil to efficiently get water \& oxygen. The first roots grown in water aren’t able to suck it up as easily in soil \& need time to grow new roots to adjust. This could be why your leaves are turning yellow. It can help to “acclimate” hydroponic grown plants by a process called hardening. When your ready to move one to soil, Try suspending your hydroponic plant over a container of water with their roots only partially submerged. This reduces the amount of water they're receiving while also giving the weak roots a chance to acclimate to new surroundings. With all plants when it comes to drastic changes with light, soil, placement etc. - gradual changes are key. Slow \& steady wins the race! I hope this helps 🖤🐝

It’s a tradescantia. It doesn’t need hardening off to go from water to soil. The pot is too big. Looks like a watering issue or possibly a lighting issue. Insufficient light has the same look.

Looks like a tradescantia gold like mine in the photo. It’s difficult to grow just one in a pot. They are usually packed together. It takes many of them to use up all the water in a pot because the individual plant is so thin. Reducing the pot size or adding many more plants to the current pot is my recommendation. 🍀🪴
