# Can anyone help me with tips for my birds of paradise? I'm not sure…

Can anyone help me with tips for my birds of paradise? I'm not sure if torn leaves are normal, especially to this frequency, but it's overall sparse and kind of ugly. I got it from a friend and waited literal months for this leaf, just for it to produce this. Is there any beautification/health advice? Thanks! 🍃 ❤️

I struggle with the same thing !!! I’ve never been able to help it but my new leafs are looking a lot better lately

The tearing along the ribs of the leaves is completely normal, it’s something the plant is designed for to allow proper airflow and prevent damage in winds
