# idk what’s going on with this guy, he only gets watered once the soil…

idk what’s going on with this guy, he only gets watered once the soil is basically dry and has a grow light/near a window  
leaves just keep yellowing/browning and dropping off, i even switched to watering with distilled water because i thought it was just dramatic but nothing seems to be working  
i got it from walmart a few months ago and treated it for pests but never actually saw any  
any help would be really appreciated 🙏🏻

Hmmm is it still in the original soil from the store? These guys like a more well-draining mix so I’m thinking that could be it. Yellow leaves are a sign of overwatering (soil is staying wet for too long)

i did change it when i first brought it home but probably wasn’t the best soil for it so i will try it!

Mix in orchid bark and perlite. Seriously like half and half. Half soil and equal amounts of perlite and bark. Some will say even less soil lol
