This is my first (and only) FLF. It appears to be very happy in my eastern facing dining room as it has grow 3 new leaves in the last couple of weeks. However the new growth has red spots on the leaves. Visible mostly on the underside and I don’t see any pests so I am wondering what could be causing this…or is it normal for new growth and it fades on mature leaves? I haven’t lost any leaves and the brown crispy parts were on the leaves when the plant was purchased.

I have the same issue and was told it could be edema

Edema, typically you’ll see this in the newest leaves first and it will eventually grow out and turn green. Try to keep consistent on your watering and not go too long between watering ect.

seconding the edema diagnosis and adding a suggestion not to change anything! stay consistent with watering like Jill said and don’t move her. it looks very healthy otherwise and FLF hates change

Yep! It will go away. Nothing too big to worry about. They’re just hormonal. 😅

😂 I can totally relate. 😝
