# Ok, hello planty folks! My mini monstera is growing like crazy, but…

Ok, hello planty folks! My mini monstera is growing like crazy, but also has some small brown spots. It’s not mushy, or squishy, just small browned holes. In my mind this matches with pests, the only pests in my house are tons of fungus gnats. The problem is those have been there for years, this baby was given to me by a friend and is very important to me, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I use the “Harris neem oil -100% cold pressed and unrefined concentrate” for fugues gnats and it works Wonders… Best neem oil i used…. And ive tried ALOT

i get a gallon of water (or a spray bottle whatever you use, I use both)

For a gallon of water, I use one full cap of the neem oil, rest water and then one drop of dish soap maybe too if im feeling a lil Crazy. Mix it up together and then use that. With the spray bottle, put HALF of the cap size of full of Neem oil \& one drop of dawn dish soap.

The smell isn’t as bad as some that I smelled, but it is kind of strong so just be aware (if you haven’t use this before) it does separate in the bottles (obviously because its oil and water Mixed LOL) if it’s not shook up enough so when you use it to shake it up a little bit and it can clog up the spray bottle nozzle. So also be aware of that but washing out with warm water and shaking up a little bit do the trick.
