# i’m so confused why my satin pothos is all of the sudden so unhappy.…

i’m so confused why my satin pothos is all of the sudden so unhappy. i got him off his water schedule and probably overcompensated for it, but he had been bone dry for a while and when i watered again he freaked out. the yellow makes me think overwatering but i don’t even know how that’s possible. i changed out the soil as well and roots looked fine. 🤦‍♀️

It needs more light and is probably just upset with inconsistent watering plus change of soil. They like to be watered when it’s 75% dry. Also, I would trim off the yellow leaves.

I would check the roots again. Honestly think it looks like rot. Might be worth trying to propagate some if more keeps looking yellow

i would move it into my light and cut off the yellow leaves. if they keep coming, it may be a different issues but then you can see if it’s something new or just the change in schedule
