# Hello! I think this plant I got for Valentine’s Day might have a…

_Opslået af Elapse den 2024-02-21_

Hello! I think this plant I got for Valentine’s Day might have a fungal infection. Dr planta said that was the correct answer. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Luckily, if it is a fungal infection it shouldn’t spread because this is my only plant in the kitchen. How would I treat it? The affected leaves are almost soggy, and the rest of the plant is healthy.

I have the same problem with my succulent. Could be because of pests, diseases, or lack of nutrients.

This is definently fungal infection. You can see the moldy green spot on the plant leaf.

Ok what should I do?

Cut out the moldy parts of it and move your plant to place with less humidity or try to stop watering as much but not fully stop. Fungus and mold usually spreads because of overwatering.
