I’m not very knowledgeable in plants, this happened in the last pot so I repotted it and (didn’t completely separate the roots from the old soil) it’s got this white stuff on it

I’ve had that happen before two unfortunately. I don’t know if it’s a watering issue or what

i’ve had the same issue before, honestly it could be three things.  
1\. over watering  
2\. too much humidity in your home  
3\. a possible mold issue in your home  
I found that when I put my plants outside the white fungus went away in a few days, but as soon as I put them back inside it was back. I recommend a little bit of cinnamon on top to kill bacteria and keep it outside for a couple of days.
