This bamboo has been having a pretty rough time lately - I’ve had it for a long time but didn’t take great care of it since I was in college and my mom was taking care of it - I repotted it recently but it’s been having this yellow stalk and the black dots - I thought thrips but nothing is moving? Help 😭

That yellow stalk is very dead. Perhaps it’s mold or mildew since that stalk isn’t absorbing the water that it’s sitting in since it’s dead?

Yea I wondered 😭 but what abt the half dead bit? Should I cut it?
