# help pleaseee i was given this monstera today and it has some new…

help pleaseee i was given this monstera today and it has some new growth but the way she looks is scaring me lol. my friend chopped all the dead off and i repotted it into rich soil hoping that would help and now have a grow light on it. i dont think shes a goner but i was wondering if anyone had any tips to help keep her alive and growing. i never had a monstera before so any advice would be super helpful :)

or do we think she has root rot? i couldnt really tell when repotting but the way this plant looks is stressing me out lol

They don’t look bad. They have new growth. The grow light will help a lot. Let the soil dry before watering. Fertilize with 50% diluted liquid fertilizer twice a month. 🍀🪴
