# i’ve had this monstera for almost 6months now, a new leaf has come…

i’ve had this monstera for almost 6months now, a new leaf has come out and this leaf has continued to curl further and further in. I’m stuck on what to do but i don’t want to have to chop this off if it’s not needed, please help!

I would stake it and put a fan on it. A gentle wind can encourage plants to strengthen stems/leaves.

Plant needs more humidity to assist in proper unfurling consider a humidifier or pebble tray. Do not mist

Don’t cut it. Leafs are this way when growing

its not a new leaf it’s been curling into its self more and more since i bought the plant a couple months ago
