What is this bug I found in my philodendron?

I recently brought it home from the nursery and it was root bound so I repotted it. Found these crawling around in the oil soil.

Is this a pest? Should I be worried about my plant? Can I just toss em outside? (I’m in the PNW)

This is a millipede. They don't do any harm to plants as far as I know. You can just put them outside. They also like moisture so if you find out you have more and want to get rid of them try watering less often.
