# I have had this beautiful Chinese evergreen for 10years \& came home…

I have had this beautiful Chinese evergreen for 10years \& came home to the top piece broke off 😞. I guess I did not have enough support for the big branch! Im wondering on if I can save the top portion? I put it in water as pic shows but not sure if this will grow roots? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all 💜

You can propagate in either water or soil. Make sure you remove any of the lower leaves that are going to be either in the water or under the soil level. If you put it in soil add a little dusting of rooting hormone.
