# Spider mites? To the trash. Ant infestation because honeydew buggies?…

Spider mites? To the trash. Ant infestation because honeydew buggies? Graveyard. Fungus gnats? New soil. That didn’t work? To the trash. Critters give me the crawlies and I can’t sleep at night knowing they’re doing parkour 24/7. Anyone else?

I had a bad year in 2024 with thrips and gnats at the same time! Isolated my plants, salvaged what I could, watered minimally to try and starve the bugs. It worked, but I lost about half my plants in the process. I’m rebuilding now and having less issues, if that lends you some hope 💚 I think infestations can spiral, but your plants can bounce back!

But it did require all purpose super bug spray folks recommended to me online for thrips, and that super helped!
