If you stick that bottom part of the stem with no leaves in soil, it will probably root, or you could put it on a windowsill until it grows roots and then put it in soil

it’s been in soil for a couple months with no root growth :( do you suggest in the windowsill in water?

What I do is I just lay it down on the windowsill with no water, and it will eventually sprout small pink roots. When you notice the roots, it can be potted and watered. I wouldn’t recommend sticking it in water because it would most likely rot.

okay thank you! I will try that

I placed mine in a glass so I could see the roots when they started to grow back. Placed in under led.

I would cut it back to the healthy looking pink and put it in water
