I just received this beautiful plant as a gift and now it looks like this. How do i reverse this? First i left it in the sun and i forgot about it. And then i might have over watered it as well. Please help me.

That looks like a Dracaena sanderiana aka Lucky bamboo. They're very sensitive to chlorine and fluoride in tap water which can cause yellowing leaves, use distilled, bottled water or rainwater. Could also be overwatered, could be worth checking for any mushy black roots to see if there's any root rot. Could also be due to sun damage, they tend to like bright indirect or filtered light.
