# Not sure what’s wrong 🤔 I got this baby tears plant a couple months…

Not sure what’s wrong 🤔

I got this baby tears plant a couple months ago. It has been doing fine up until a couple weeks ago when I noticed that it’s not really growing. I noticed that the leaves had turned red. Some fully, others just at the back.

I hang it in my bedroom in front of my window in its nursery pot. I just discovered that the pot has drainage yesterday. I measure 1/2 cup of filtered water whenever the app tells me to water it. Never fertilized because it was still cold (Toronto, Canada cold). It doesn’t smell, the leaves are not mushy or falling off so, I dunno…

I don’t know much about baby tears plants, but other plants I have will turn red when it’s happy and getting the right amount of sun!

As for not growing, it may need to be repotted in a slightly bigger pot or just repotted in the same pot with new soil. You’ll also be able to check the roots and see if those are mushy/smelly and if you’re watering enough.

Oh I do hope the plant is just blushing and showing love 🥰. The pot does look fairly full… So I guess a repot may be in order? Thank you for helping 😇
