# hello all! i have this peace lily i have been trying to take care of…

hello all! i have this peace lily i have been trying to take care of and nothing i seem to do works - it always droops and then perks up a couple days later and then droops again. i’ve tried most things from lighting to watering schedules, but nothing i do seems to help this plant thrive. any tips would be highly appreciated!!!

Hi! In mid-February I saw a video of someone removing the soil from a peace lily and letting it live in water forever. It was gorgeous! So I went on a mission. Found a(nother) peace lily at Home Depot on sale. So I grabbed it and thrifted what I needed in order to try letting it live in water for the long haul. Well, she couldn’t be happier and has pushed out 2 new flowers since!! I will post pics but they probably won’t post in order. 😒 I love love love the look and am so glad that I stumbled upon the idea. Whatever you choose to do, they are pretty resistant (in my experience) and should bounce back with a repot, at least. Good luck with ur baby!!

Do this!!! She will love you. Also, my peace lily’s are very happy with filtered light. None of mine are under grow lights or too close to a window. This is my newest. Her leaves are stunning!! Trying to find the perfect spot. 🌱

peace lilies are tough. is the soil retaining water well? or does it feel dry even after you water it?
