# Hi! Does anyone know what’s going on with this violet? It belongs to…

Hi! Does anyone know what’s going on with this violet? It belongs to my cousin and she’s had it in a window getting lots of afternoon sun. The soil is also slightly damp a few inches down, but definitely not wet. Is it just going dormant?

Blooms die and come back.  
African violet fertilizer will help promote blooms and also keep them alive longer. They do have a cycle.

Possibly too much sun… trim off the flowers and it should bounce back.
