This are my sunflowers which I was gifted about a month ago. They had an ant and fly infestation. I’ve tried spraying insect killer in the evening and this made the plant worse and didn’t really kill the ants/flys. I used one of the yellow sticky tabs and as you can see it’s done well but the plant is still struggling and some leaves on the stems are wilting. What can I do please?

I’m not sure how to get rid of the ants, but mosquito bits will get rid of flies (as well as fungus gnats in case that’s what it is)

Replacing the soil might be a good idea since I’m sure there’s a lot of insect larvae in there
