my flaming katy is getting spotted and turning yellow. Any tips to combat this?

Does your pot have drainage? If it does not I would say the soil is staying too wet. If it has drainage and your soil is too dense it could still be staying too wet. It should be in a pot with a drain hole and cactus soil for the medium. From the photograph I can't see any pests or fungus so I think it's a watering issue.
