# I found several tiny mealybugs on my Hoya Krimson Queen this morning.…

I found several tiny mealybugs on my Hoya Krimson Queen this morning. There are almost too small to see in some places. I chose to dunk the entire plant in Dawn dishwater to clear them out of every nook and out of the soil. The downside is it kills off beneficial insects. I didn’t see any other insects like common spiders. So, I chose this method. I soaked the plant for 30 minutes and followed up with multiple clean water rinses.

I like these types of posts sometimes, gives me insight into how people care for their plants and what to do if mine fall into the same category someday
