This amaryllis was beautiful and now her leaves turned yellow half of them fell off and the ones that didn’t are limp. Here are pictures of everything. Please help me figure out what’s wrong? There’s some white fuzz on roots so maybe and the tips of the roots are kind of red but google says it’s healthy I don’t know.

That sounds normal to me….. my leaves always get a bit limp because of the weight. I’m not sure about the roots because ive never removed mine from the initial container since my sister-in-law gave it to me.

My leaves have also turned yellow so new ones would grow or it would just die off after some time which would be the end of the season and I’d remove all by cutting it off and put the pot in a dark area so it will bloom the following year.

From everything I’m seeing in the pictures it looks perfectly healthy and I would put it back to how it was and leave it be.

These plants naturally die off year to year so they will bloom the following year. Look up how to care for the plant at end of season. If they leaves done die off and if you don’t cut them back to the base you won’t get blooms the following year.
