# I rescued this poor guy from my besties windowsill, he was shoved…

_Publicado por Kiwibiwi el 2025-04-15_

I rescued this poor guy from my besties windowsill, he was shoved behind a couch and forgotten 😭 When I took him home he was barely green, mostly brown/grey and I’ve given him some TLC, the left pic is when I had him for about four days and picture on the right is me having him for two weeks. I’ve repotted, and fertilized, and been misting. Does anyone have any other advice with helping its recovery? Should I take off or leave the more damaged pieces or are some scars ok?

Ty in advance!

I would personally leave it be for a while to adjust to the repotting then trim it back later on if anything still looks wilted/discolored.

Love it!! Agreed!! Let her be for abit to adjust to new repot life (I’d give it 3weeks) then you can go in and trim as needed. She looks amazing!!

I agree with everything else and would add that I wouldn’t fertilize again until it improves. Better not to fertilize when a plant is super stressed.

I agree with the others, let it adjust and then definitely give it a trim. This will generate more Central growth.
