# Came back from vacation and almost all of my Hibiscus 🌺 leaves died…

_Posted by Mrs. Tebo on 2025-06-25_

Came back from vacation and almost all of my Hibiscus 🌺 leaves died and fell off. And soil full of what I assume is fungus gnats. I put outside and sprayed the leaves and soil with Neem. Placed a pest sticker in just now. Is there any hope that this might survive with what little is still green at the top?

It looks pretty green. Nature finds a way?

I’ve had hisbiscus trees for years. If it’s really dry Airate your soil well by poking it with a chopstick or some poking apparatus a whole bunch to break up the soil and water ever loving out of it make sure the soil is soaks it up.

Cut off all the flower buds for a long while and she’ll recover. Water again once she’s almost dry. Mosquito bits in your water will help with the fungus gnats fertilizer will help her recover easier
