# I’ve been worried about this birds nest fern for the last few eeek.…

I’ve been worried about this birds nest fern for the last few eeek. The soil isn’t drying so I think it’s causing some root rot. Anyone out there have any idea on what’s happening?

If I replant it quickly will that possibly solve it?

i wouldn’t repot unless you’re sure it’s rotting. has it been exposed to any cold air or maybe a heater? looks like that kinda stress to me

Nope no exposure to heat or cold! Thank you for the tip on holding on repotting

Does it have high humidity? These are often happy in bathrooms with decent light due to moisture and warmth
