# This is my lavender plant I’ve got from B\&Q and it was doing…

This is my lavender plant I’ve got from B\&Q and it was doing absolutely fine for the first few days however it’s started to die out on me. It has drainage clay underneath the soil and I do make sure to water it so it doesn’t dry out except the days where the UK had been experiencing extreme rain so I didn’t want to overwater it.

It might be in too direct of sun, lavender likes part shade 😬

Heat might be an issue too. We’ve got potted lavender \& when it gets into mid 80’s I move it to catch some wind- it really likes that cool down. It’s been really thriving in full sun but cooler temp. Just a thought- I’m in SE AK \& we tend to run cool \& slight breeze- though it can get very hot on our deck.

I’ve put it in shade let’s see how it goes for a few days, will update in a weeks time
