# Hello! New to Planta here but I need some help! My beloved aloe Vera,…

Hello! New to Planta here but I need some help! My beloved aloe Vera, which was my first plant baby has not been loving life this year. At first the bottom leaves looked like they were rotting away so I chopped those off and changed the soil to a more succulent type of soil. Then the leaves started drooping more, which I thought was just due to weight, however I just noticed these tiny black dots on some of the leaves. Is this pests or disease and how do I go about saving it?

Yeah, I might’ve a few months ago, I’ve been doing the finger test for moisture and letting it completely dry out for the past several times now
