All of my umbrella trees new leaves keep turning black and dying. I have no idea what’s going on, but it gets indirect sunlight all day with 30-60 minutes of direct when the sun sets. It could be the watering since I try to water my plants when the leaves look a bit wilty, but this one’s leaves usually feel pretty stiff always. Any help is appreciated!! :)

if you’re letting the soil dry out completely before watering you might be underwatering — clay pot makes it dry faster too. good news this is always better than over watering!

my umbrella plant is pretty thirsty. the leaves on this won’t droop or get soft like a pothos or peace lily or succulent when it wants water, they’ll just fall off
