# What’s wrong with my baby dracaena? I just got it about a week ago…

What’s wrong with my baby dracaena? I just got it about a week ago and now it’s all droopy. I watered it yesterday with tap water, but my cat has also been chewing on the leaves so that might have something to do with it.i just moved it to this spot yesterday, but it’s still droopy. Please help!

Could be overwatering but dracaena is also sensitive to tap water. A recommendation I received a couple of years ago was to use filtered or distilled water for dracaena.

Ok thank you so much. Little update, the stem is turning brown and it’s even more droopy than it was before. Does it need more water?
