# Noticed some tiny brown spots on a couple of my philodendron birken's…

Noticed some tiny brown spots on a couple of my philodendron birken's leaves this morning. I found an old reddit thread that suggested it's fungus — never had a fungus issue yet so any tips on confirming the diagnosis \& how to treat would be appreciated! I love this guy so hopefully he can bounce back. It's not on all the leaves, is more present on some than others, and hasn't impacted new growth (he puts out a new leaf pretty much constantly)

I can’t see any brown spots

They're pretty light brown and mostly around the edges, you can see them better zoomed in on the photos

I get them on mine, I found out it was the water, So I started collecting rain water and it’s stopped
