Update on my poor jade plant...😭

She lost more and more leaves every day. I reported her about a week ago and it didn't help. I thankfully got a leaf off before it died to propagate it so she will hopefully life on. RIP sweet girl 🕊️

I find Facebook groups to be more helpful when I have a question about my plants.

it’s very unlikely that a succulent will recover from overwatering. if you try again, try a better draining soil with plenty of perlite — or even better, a soil free mix. bright light! better luck next time!

Thank you so much 😭 I keep mine in standing water and just remember to not fertilize because that can mess them up (please clean out the water trays though, I'm guilty of growing some mold 😅)

I’m so sorry to hear about your jade! They’re my favorite plant, and I’ve got a 30 year old that despite my doing quite well with since being put in its care, still worry about. Do you need any help or advice with propagating the leaf? I propagated some stem cuttings from my jade not too long ago, and would be happy to walk you through it.
